A planning application for the first phases of development of the Leyland Test Track was submitted to South Ribble Borough Council (SRBC) in November 2017. The application is in line with the approved Masterplan for regeneration of the site, as well as in line with the adopted Local Plan. The hybrid application seeks full planning consent for development of up to 197 homes, with highways improvements to Longmeanygate and elsewhere, as well as outline consent for the wider site, in line with the approved Masterplan.
As is often the case with larger and more complex developments, additional information has been submitted to the Council since the application was submitted. SRBC has made this information available and is now consulting upon it, in line with usual practice. The submitted information is available on the Council website, but Barratt Homes and Property Capital are also making it available on this website to make it as easy as possible for the community to access it. The new information submitted to the Council may be downloaded via the following menu of links. If you are unable to find what you are looking for, please contact Lauren Dearden at 0161 711 0312.
